I am not typically the kind of person that jumps online to review everything I buy, but these sheets were so awful that I felt compelled to say something to hopefully spare others from a horrible night's sleep. I purchased these sheets after reading the reviews, and while there were some negative ones, I thought there was enough positive to out weigh that. Being made from Egyptian cotton with a decent thread count, I figured they had to be soft. When I pulled these sheets out of the package yesterday they seemed pretty nice. I threw them in the washer and dryer and that's when things turned bad! First, I pulled them out of the dryer when they were warm hoping they would be decently wrinkle-free...nope! They were so wrinkled that they looked like someone rolled them up in a ball when they were wet and left them like that to dry. I couldn't even iron the wrinkles out of the pillowcases they were that bad! Not the kind of presentation I want to leave on my bed. Then for the really bad part...I crawled into bed last night and these sheets were so itchy that I had to get up in the middle of the night and put my old sheets back on my bed. Never in my life have I had to do such a thing! First I got up and changed the pillowcase, thinking maybe if I got the scratchiness away from my face I could actually fall asleep. Then after another hour of tossing and turning in scratchy hell, I finally got up and replaced the sheets as well and naturally, fell right asleep. Please save yourself the money and do not buy these sheets!!
Such soft sheets. Fits my king bed with 14 inch pockets very nicely. Would definetly buy these again!
This set is poor quality. When they arrived I thought they were a little rough for 400 thread count, but figured like others they would get softer with washing, but now, after just 4 washes they have started to pill (making annoying balls usually caused by bad blends of cotton)! It's too late for me to return them, so I'm using this to warn others, save your money and buy sheets somewhere else!!!
I bought these sheets to replace some 425 thread count that I bought at Great Offer Stock that were wonderful. I have a CAL King bed so I can not go to any of the local stores and pickup a set of sheets. Washed the sheets on arrival and put them on the bed they seen to be a little thinner than my 425 thread count sheets but they are smooth and soft and much better than the last set that I bought at Great Offer Stock. They are made in India which I have discovered makes some good textiles. Indian made sheets seem to be much better than the ones made in China. We liked the sheets so well that after a month or so we ordered a second set just as a backup we usually just wash them and put them back on and so far we have had no problems. We have a 13 inch mattress and they fit well but I don't think that they would fit a mattress much thicker.
the fitted sheet is wider then my bed and not long enough. the top sheet is not wide enough. this surprised me because i do like the "stuff" from O.
Purchase them in Navy and grey, they wash well and color has not faded. They are very soft with a slight sheen to them but not to much. Quality of the sheets are great for the price. I will be coming back for more of the other colors. Fit true to size my mattress is about nine inches thick and I use a feather-bed and I still have enough material left to cover mattress completely. I recommend them.
I was leery to buy these sheets at first because the first two reviews I saw rated them poor, but then I read on in the reviews. The rest of the reviews were very pleased to rave so I took a chance - and I am THRILLED I did. These are 400ct Egyptian cotton sheets and that is what I expected. I think the other reviewers expected 400ct. to feel like 800 or 1000ct. These are good quality and I experienced no 'pilling' even after 4 washes. I waited to write this review until after several washings ( I was suspect of the poor reviewer because high thread count sheets do not pil - the weave is way to tight to allow it. I have had blankets pil before but never sheets). The color is rich, deep and vibrant. I bought the Hunter green and am back to order another set. The color has not faded. I wash in cold water and dry on low heat. Very pleased with the price and the quality. I do not hesitate to recommend these. Exactly as I expected 400ct. sheets to be; Medium weight, tight weave, they get softer after each wash, no fading in color. These will last many, many years.
These sheets have a very nice feel. They are a nice mix between flannel and percale. While the 400 thread count is very thick, it doesn't feel too heavy. There are a couple of shortcomings, however. The pockets are nowhere near 18" as advertised. My bed is about 14 " thick and the fitted sheets are quite tight. Also, the flat sheet is too short. It only entends about 3 " below the bottom of the mattress, so you really have to pull to get both coverage at the head of the bed and enough sheet under the mattress at the foot. Also, the duvet cover, which I didn't order but received in error, after only one wash separated and frayed for about a 5 inch length of a seam.
The top sheet is very nice. It comes out crisp from the dryer without too many wrinkles - which always bothers me especially when it is at the top and doesn't lay flat. It is soft. The bottom sheet fits nicely and my mattress is 22 inches deep. Not a problem with fit only problem is the fitted sheet is not soft. It is scratchy on my legs. My last sheets were 650 count and I can see why. Some reviews are helpful but I wanted to wash a few times before I wrote my review to give the results. So after six washings I have to say that I would not recommend. Pay the extra for a higher count sheet - you'll sleep better.
Nice material and a good fit even after washing. These extra long twins are hard to find so we're very happy.
I ordered two sets of these, for a new bed we ordered... When they arrived - they felt wonderful, but we all know that once washed they sometimes seem quite a bit different than we anticipated... So I washed them immediately before even fondling them or seeing how close the colors were to my new comforter! They came out of the dryer looking wonderful! Not all crinkly or twisted. I did remove them while warm, so they didn't get a "real" chance to get too wrinkly. They feel GREAT! Soft and supple, with a great finish to them. The coffee colored ones appear a bit more shiny than the cream ones... the cream ones are more soft and fuzzy in comparison. Not as fuzzy as flannel, but just a bit more nap on the threads. The coffee colored ones almost have a satin finish to them. Putting a set on the bed: worked perfectly! They fit wonderfully, with the full elastic, even on this monstrously huge, tall pillow-top mattress!! I was happily surprised! Three or four nights of sleeping in them - and they still are snugly attached to the mattress. No creeping or shifting. So far, I am really pleased... :) And at the price - I am doubly impressed!
We made the decision to indulge in sheets a long time ago and bought 1000 and 1200 count sheets thinking the higher the thread count the better. However they would shrink so bad that making the bed became a tug-of-war between me and my husband and we dreaded making the bed every time. So I decided to go down on thread count and bought these 400 thread count Egyptian Cotton sheets. Well, we could not be more pleased. They are soft to the touch, feel high quality and best of all they fit nice and have not shrunk after a couple of washes now. No more Tug-of-war games for us. Thank you!
Love these sheets. Cal king size fits great - love that the bottom sheet has elastic around all 4 edges. Took advice from other product reviews about not buying "sateen" sheets (never realized the difference) but now I do! Nice, crisp sheets - the bottom doesn't get all wrinkled up - it stays fresh and flat. And the cotton is very breathable - no waking up sweating inside the sheets. Not as soft as I thought they would be, but I'm thinking that will change after a couple more washes. I will buy a second set!!
These sheets are so comfortable and they fit my Cal King perfect. The deep pockets fit great. Some sheets that say deep pocket don't fit but these do.
When I moved into my new apartment, I was *obsessed* with having gray sheets with a dark blue comforter, I searched everywhere for gray sheets but anytime I found them, they were either sold out of queen size or ridiculously overpriced. These sheets are EXACTLY what I was looking for, a simple, slate gray sheet that is reasonably priced, but not so cheap it's like sleeping on sand paper. These sheets are comparable to what you would find at a nicer hotel- they are somewhat thick and are very nice to sleep on. I highly recommend this sheet to anyone who wants good quality bedding that won't break their bank account!
These sheets are beautiful! I bought navy and they are the darkest, richest navy I've seen in a long time. They are nice to the touch and have a very slight sheen. Love them.
I have been buying my sheets from Great Offer Stock for years now because I know that they will always fit my deep mattress, and it saves me time looking from store to store to try and find deep fitted sheets. I switch between 300-400 count depending on the price. About 85% of the time I get sheets that last a long time. However, there were times that the sheets tore easily after a short period of time. I guess it really depends on the manufacturer the quality of sheet.
I can recommend these sheets so far. They have held up well and washed well so far. I haven't had them long enough to be certain
We have a king sized serta mattress with the "Ultimate Pillowtop" so it is a VERY thick mattress and so is hard to find fitted sheets with deep enough pockets. These sheets EASILY fit and are beautiful! I haven't washed them many times yet, but so far the quality is great and they are soft (although not as soft as some 400 count sheets...but maybe that will come with more washing) the color is rich and beautiful!
The sheet quality is soft with no shrinkage. The other great thing about these sheets is the way they fit...nice and tight. I have a new mattress which is thick but still have problems finding sheets that fit snug and stay snug. These sheets wrinkle minimally but again, fit great. The color was accurate with regard to the website representation. I have washed them twice and they are getting softer with each wash and they feel great. The also arrived on time, with shipping updates sent via Email. I would definitely buy them again and will purchase another set soon.
