Just received, washed first, very soft, but very tight fit on my 14 inch pillow top plus 2 inch egg crate foam topper for a total of 16 inches. I have bought other Egyptian cotton sheets from Great Offer Stock before, different brand, those had plenty of room for my mattress and topper and could have fit a 18 to 20 inch mattress, but not these. this Blue color is really soft and pretty, can't wait to sleep in them tonight. the app is not coming up right now, when it does, I will update with photos So if you mattress is less than 14, like 12, they will fit perfect. Hope this helps
I can't tell you how happy I am with this sheet set. It is not only unbelievably soft and comfy but it also looks gourgeos on the bed. The fit is excellent and the color is exactly as shown. It is definitely worth spending extra for a higher thread count number. In fact I am going to purchase another set for myself.
These are top-quality single ply sheets. The 800 thread count gives them a beautiful sheen. And they are delightfully soft to the touch. The stitching and workmanship are excellent. I ordered the coral queen-sized set, and the color is exactly as shown in the product description. The deep-pocket sheet fits my 16-inch mattress snugly, but it will not fit a mattress any thicker than that. The length of the top sheet is fine, but the width of the top sheet, when evenly placed on the mattress, only hangs or reaches slightly below the bottom of the mattress on both sides (16"). In other words, the sheets are "adequately" sized but not generously sized, or oversized. The sheets must be washed in cold water. If there is any shrinkage, using these queen-sized sheets on a 16-inch thick mattress will be problematic. The pillowcases are designed for queen-sized pillows and are not suitable for over-sized pillows.
the 18 inch deep sheets were not deep enough....the cotton and color were fine
These sheet are super but they do not fit a mattress that is 18 inch deep. You can fit them over the corners but the sides are far from covering the entire mattress. I will use them in my quest room that has a 14-15 inch mattress. I washed them according to the directions. Cold water and Low heat so I am sure they did not shrink. I should have tried them on before washing them so that I could return them.
Great bed sheets for the money and even after several washes it still had its softness. Normally thread counts this high cost 3x or more but not here! Also, I recommend buying more than one because you will regret not doing so once you feel these sheets.
Beautiful coral color! So soft and deep enough for my mattress with a 4 inch mattress pad. Wash great and overall great.
I consider myself to be a smart shopper but as far as Egyptian cotton sheets/pillow cases go i dont have much to compare to because this is my first set. so you can take this review with a grain of salt if you like. I got two sets of these sheets for my 12 inch memory foam mattress. the fitted sheet has nice and deep pockets so i had no problem fitting them on the mattress and no problem with the sheet slipping off the corners. I have had them for a few weeks now and have absolutely no regrets buying them. Even after a few washes (i typically try to swap out/wash sheets every 1-2 weeks) the fabric is still incredibly soft and no pilling has occurred so far. in my opinion these sheets are awesome!
I am extremely pleased with these 800 thread count egyptian cotton sheets. They are very well made, and very smooth to the touch. Yes, they are heavier than other sheets, but that is because of the thread count. They do wrinkle a little after washing, but not as bad as other sheets I have owned. I just iron the pillow cases and several inches of the top hem of the top sheet. These are very luxurious, and I highly recommend them.
The queen deep pocket sheets were even better than expected. I would have expected to pay 2x the money for this quality. They are silky with good straight seams. The color a a rich, warm cream that looks amazing with my red bedspread.
I was a little worried prior to ordering these sheets as some reviewers stated they had problems with wrinkles. We've not found that to be so. Very soft, and not slippery. Fitted sheet has elastic on all sides which is nice. We have a standard king size mattress with a three inch memory foam topper on it, and these sheets fit a little loose in that I have to tuck the sides under each time I make up the bed. The flat sheet hangs a little lower on the sides than I'd like. But overall, we love them.
These sheets are excellent quality and fit our 18 inch mattress easily, but not loosely. They stay on easily and the weight of the material is not so light it's flyaway. They wash nicely and have plenty to hang on both sides of a king bed.
I bought 2 pairs of the Burgundy and 1 pair of the black sheets about 5 months ago.The colors are gorgeous and have stayed true though many washings. At first I was dismayed over the scratchy material, more noticeable on the pillowcase than on the sheets, but after each washing, they became softer and softer. They are pretty comfortable now, and I expect them to improve even more.I've had no problems with piling. I wash them in warm on delicate cycle and dry on permanent press.I remove from dryer when damp and shake a bit, then allow to air dry. I only bother with ironing the upper "Pin tucked" area of the flat sheet (Nice touch BTW). Guest sheets are the only ones that get the full ironing around here! These sheets are thick and heavy and perfect with a light silk (Empty) duvet cover in the summer, and a med. weight blanket and comforter in the winter - Very cozy! I would highly recommend.
These sheets are of great quality. They wash and dry well, while retaining their softness. They don't shrink or warp in shape. The depth could be an inch deeper.
I read alot of reviews before buying these sheets. Sheets and the fabric counts have become very confusing, especially trying to order online. I recently spent an obscene amount of money on special order sheets, Home Treasures, from a specialy linen store, a huge mistake. They were very thin, didn't wear well at all and the fabric pilled. In less than a year I needed to replace them. These sheets, a tenth of the price of Home Treasures, are a good value and have a beautiful sheen. I have had good sheets for twenty years and the way to care for them is to always wash on delicate in warm water with a mild detergent and dry on a low - medium setting, never hot. Heat and chemicals destroy the fabric quickly. If you don't want wrinkling, dry the bottom sheet seperately, then dry the top sheet and pillowcases, otherwise everthing ends up in a ball, making wrinkles. Since these sheets take less than 10 minutes to dry, you needn't feel like you are wasting a lot of energy. These sheets are heavy compared to most, and that is my only problem with them, but I think they will soften with age and certainly last longer than a year.
You won't be disappointed if you order these. I've washed them close to 40 x's being careful to follow their washing instructions (gentle cycle, cold, no beach). And I dry them inside on a clothes-line. My only complaint is the the Full sheet has always been about 10" too short in length. Having graduated form a textile college, and worked in the textile industry, I might be too picky? I did not use my loop glass to count the t.p.i. But I believe the material is of exceptional quality, and India did a good job fabricating the Egyptian cotton. They are exceptionally comfortable to sleep on! You should like them a lot.
I can't say in words how much i love these sheets. I had just bought a new mattress (also from overstock) a new mattress pad to protect my new investment. Last on the list was a good set of quality sheets. Now, i've been all around the sheets department, i've gotten flannels for the cooler months, i've tried percale (which i like) but nothing compares to these sheets and i've evrm had 1000 to 1200 tc sheets. I honestly cannot tell a difference between these and my 1000's. They are just the most comfortable sheets out there. And yes, they are very cool when you get in them but they warm you up fairly quickly. Just pure heaven to slide into at night. Now warning: my mattress is a pillow top mattress. The bottom sheet is technically too large for the bed. They work fine for me as the weight of the mattress keeps the sheets tucked but these could easily cover a larger mattress (such as a double sided pillow top). Deep pockets? YES. They really are.
I spent a good amount of time trying to find the best sheets of the high quality for a reasonable price. After coming up short over and over, I took a chance based on other peoples reviews of these sheets. The 1000TC were too heavy and oddly not as soft. These are perfect! The picture (i have sage sheets) does not give these sheets justice either- they are elegant and soft, but bright at the same time. I recommend these sheets to all of my girlfriends, and have even got my mid twenties guy friends to buy new sheets!!
I ordered 800 thread count sheets at a decent discount-but not a rock-bottom price. The sheets looked beautiful-but after I washed them, they shrunk at least 3" all the way around. The fitted sheet barely fits my queen-sized mattress--I have to really pull to get it on. The top sheet fits the bed, but it is not at all generous with only 8"inches or so hanging from the edges of the mattress. The fabric is very nice, and they feel great -- but I am disappointed that these sheets barely fit my bed after one wash.
We have had these sheets over 6 months now and they still are like new. They are heavy, soft and long lasting. They will easily last twice as long as any sheet I have bought, well worth the extra money. Excallent quality.
