Egyptian Cotton Sheets These sheets are really thick and somewhat heavy! I was expecting something much lighter and softer to the touch, but they aren't! I actually got a little rug burn on my elbows from these sheets. Sadly I won't be buying anymore of these.

Great Sheets! Wonderful sheets! Purchased Ivory 1st, then sage. These sheets are great but do need a "breaking in time" as is the case with most high TC bedding. Because they are thick heavy sheets you really need to wash them probably a dozen cycles to start feeling just how soft they become. I have similar quality white sheets, also Egyptian cotton, they have been washed multiple times the past yr & now are sooooo!!!! soft. What you're paying for is the density of weaving, that's what "thread count" means, to those not accustomed to this they may seem heavy & even a little scratchy at 1st. Once broken in, you'll love them & sleep so well you'll never go back and they will last for many yrs, they are an investment. RE: wrinkling issue, 1st they are cotton, 2nd launder as recommended, 3rd dry top & bottom sheets separately with a tennis ball in the dryer (old trick) that keeps them from "balling up", 4th fold & stack nicely; this should smooth out most of the wrinkles. I alternate my linens, touch up top sheet/ pillow cases with iron & my bed always looks & feels WONDERFUL!!! Great Offer Stock is great, prices can't be beat & customer service is fab. Invest in these linens, you'll be glad you did (WHAT'S MORE IMPORTANT THAN OUR SLEEP?)

They are not your silky, satiny, impress your boyfriend or girlfriend with the feel of soft (cheap) sheets. These sheets are built for sleeping - in comfort. Yes, when you wash them they wrinkle..... but if you press them they can be made as straight as a level..... They are cool, crisp, smell like springtime freshness, sleep like a baby sheets that are cool to the touch and look like a million dollars on the bed. Don't write me about too scratchy or too stiff... When I'm in bed I like mine stiff. The fact is these are the finest quality sheets that you will ever find for the money - and I have tried virtually all of them. These things wear like iron, last for years, and will be as good for sleeping five years from now as anything in your linen closet. There... I've said it - and I've said all I have to say about this product.

The Best Sheets I've ever had! This Egyptian Cotton 1200 thread count is definitely the best sheets that is out there. A lot of people prefer the sateen sheets which slides and is very slippery. Before upgrading to the Kingsdown King Size bed, we had a queen size and were using a high quality (900tc) and it was very comfortable, but this 1200 tc is by far the most comfortable I've had. I'm very happy with my purchase and will be purchasing the other different colors. F.Y.I. There is a 1000tc that is available by other manufactures that is listed on Great Offer Stock, but it isn't as half as good as the Egyptian Cotton 1200tc. I know because I made a mistake in purchasing the 1000tc.

Good Value, but.... So, overall, a great price for a hefty threadcount. The sheets have gone through several washes and are still smooth and have perfect hems. They seem to be well made and durable. The only downside is they are thick sheets--really thick. Their threadcount seems to relate to the density rather than the feel of the fabric. So, if you're looking to slide into sateen heaven at night, these are not your sheets. If you're looking for smooth, hearty sheets, buy away!

Stiff sheets There is a misconception about sheets out there that the higher the thread count the better the quality. This is only partially true. Actually, the highest quality sheets are a SINGLE ply, high thread count. The single ply is just as important as the thread count. I purchased two sets of these sheets and can guarantee you that they are not single ply. These sheets feel (and weigh) much like canvas. They are thick and will likely last a lifetime, but it will take at least a lifetime for them to become soft. Do yourself a favor and make sure that you purchase single ply sheets. You will be much more pleased with the softness.

They are thick and heavy. They do not say single ply, so I'd have to say no, but I like thicker sheets. With the A/C on in the summer and a fan usually going on over me, They are just enough to keep me temperate. AND the winter - well all the more warmth provided with a comforter on top. And they are luxurious They soften up after about 5 washes and dryer times. However I was them in separate loads as I have King size and I want to wash them properly. I put the fitted in one load and the pillowcases and the top sheet in another. If you have other little clothes to put in with them you can fill up the wash load a little more, but I have learned that the freer sheets can move while washing, the better the detergent rinses out of them and leaves them a little more soft after they go through the dryer. AND NEVER dry your Egyptian sheets on high heat - use medium

I purchased the Impressions by Luxor 100% Egyptian cotton - they are very thick and substantial sheets that will get softer over time. This is exactly what I was looking for, as the super soft sheets are nice, however they do not hold up long term and usually are a blend. I have to iron my sheets if I want them crisp, however after about a dozen washes they should start to soften up a little. If you're looking for all cotton, thick and long lasting, this brand is an excellent choice. They also have enough overhang on the sides to actually tuck in, which was a problem I had with other sheet sets. I purchased the white and I love mine.... hope this helps
