I ordered these as a quick thought for my sofa bed and they worked better than I thought

Not very soft and a bit scratchy even after several washes

These pillow cases get washed weekly in hot water and bleach, and they have held up well for the six months that we have had them.

Wash and feel beautiful.

I usually go for higher thread count. Regret I didn't on these.

I needed an extra pair of pillow cases. These are great quality and match my sheet set perfectly. Another great buy at Overstock!

It's great to have more pillowcases. I love white sheets but find that we need more pillow cases than the average sheet sets include. These work fine. Next time I may look for larger cases, though.

Really soft and wonderful quality

I got these in the Taupe with the full awareness that the color is more like Chocolate brown, and I love the color, it looks great with our duvet. The sheets had a slightly musty smell out-of-package, so I washed and dried them before putting them on the bed - no big deal. But pulling the sheets out of the dryer, I noticed one of the seams on my standard pillow cases had come apart and the fabric there is beginning to unravel. I'm guessing it's the fault of a shallow seam, because otherwise the sheets seem okay, but I am a little disappointed that I'm going to have to pull out my sewing kit and fix brand new pillow cases. They're decent sheets at a decent price for 100% cotton, but after washing them they lost some of their luster, my husband thinks they're scratchy, and I'm irked about the seam situation. I wanted to be delighted, but I guess I'm a little underwhelmed.

I needed extra cases for some spare pillows I bought. These pillowcases are just right for the job. Well made and soft fabric. I think they will last a long time.

Actually, these were quite nice -- until I noticed that two had fabric flaws which were about to become holes. Another had thread pulls. Too bad, I liked this fabric and the chocolate color was perfect. I can't recommend these at all -- am returning both sets -- and am headed to the big bed and bath store to get something I can rely on.

these are a good pillow case, sturdy, wash well. It's good to have just plain white cases.

I thought that these would be a bit softer but there are very comfortable otherwise. I would recommend this item. Washing should make the cases very comfortable.
