I don't think thread count applies since it is a synthetic fabric. However, it is nice and soft and silky--seems well made.

This pillowcase is simply amazing for keeping your hair in the condition you want. Personally I've found that it'll keep a hair style fresh for up to 3 days even if you toss and turn a lot at night. Your hair will remain soft and with minimal frizz (if you have extremely frizz-prone hair like mine) or with no frizz. It's also amazing for your face.
