sheets are not durable, after just a few washes the fabric started to fray.

I was disappointed, these sheets shrank. I can barely get them on the bed. The top sheet is so short I had to sew another part of a sheet to the bottom to be able to tuck the sheet under the bottom of the bed. They are very heavy but not soft.

Absolutely LOVE these light weight comfy sheets. I have had them for a little over a year and they still look and fell brand new

I read all reviews before deciding to buy these! The price is a little high but i took a chance! I ordered the silver color. They are amazing! Its just like hotel sheets. They are indeed a heavy sheet! That's exactly what we wanted! They are great quality. Super comfortable. I ordered a king and they fit perfectly. Although the pillow cases are ment for the bigger ones which i dont have. But i still use them!!! Love love these sheets! Will get more!!!!!!

I ordered these sheets in blue / king size. They felt somewhat soft when they first arrived, but seem to get scratchier every time I wash them (the opposite of what egyptian cotton should do) I should have sent these back instead of thinking washing numerous times would help. After 7 - 8 washes, I have given up and thrown them in the the back of the closet. On a positive note, the weight is very heavy, what's expected for 1000 count sheets, and they didn't lose any of it in the wash/dryer. They also fit my king bed perfectly. Too bad they're so scratchy I can't stand laying on them...

The sheets are very heavy and well put together, they are warm and cool at the same time. I like sheets that keep in the cool feeling somehow these manage a good temp despite how heavy they are. I will buy again.

Sheets were really soft but the seams on the pillow case came apart frist time they wre washed

I've bought these exact brand and count before from O. Love them. Bought a king-size bed, ordered these, in Ivory. Just opened the package. WHEW what a hideous STINK. Kind of a cross between rotten meat and rotten cheese. They're in the washer right now, double wash, double rinse. Sure hope the awful smell goes away. I loved the last set I bought--wonderful feel that gets better every time they're washed. Cross your fingers for me. I may be back.

I purchased a 1000 thread count egyptian sheet set of another brand before and this one in comparison is on the low side. It is light weight, about the same as 800 thread count and feels like plastic. It had a smell of chemicals but after washing the smell disappeared. I would suggest if looking for 1000 thread count, look at another brand

I looked at the overall review and didn't bother to read the individual entries. That was a huge mistake. If you look at the individual reviews sorted from low to high you will see that quality of these sheets have been in question for the past year. I agree that they are coarse, dry and scratchy. The 1000 thread count cannot be accurate and they are certainly not sateen, silky or smooth. I have never had a bad purchase from Great Offer Stock so I assumed they would be great sheets, threw away the packaging and washed them. When I put them on the bed the first time I knew I had made a huge mistake. I guess I can use them for painting drop cloths...

This 100% Egyptian Cotton sateen weave sheet set has extra long staple fibers making them resilient for long wear. Now comes the true test: when you open the package the chemical odor is very strong but it washes out the very first wash so not to worry. the chemical is used to set the die and also sanitize the sheets. The sheets are very comfortable and just the right thickness. The pillow cases are so soft and smooth against my face and the sheets are the same against the rest of my body. The sheets are not thin, they are a thicker heavier sheet that will last for many years. I have washed them two times and they get softer after each wash. Great sheets at a great price.

These feel more like 1500 thread count. Very luxurous and of excellent quality. Have not washed them yet so don't know if they will shrink and that will tell everything. I ordered the green which is not as pictured. It is a very pale silvery green as opposed to the more olive or avocado green. Providing they do not shrink through washing, I will put this sheet rating to the top of the list.

Sheets are perfect weight, smooth feel, fit good. Will buy more.

Best sheets I've ever had!

These sheets are fabulous and very well made. I have only washed twice, so not sure how they will hold up over the years but they are so thick I think they will likely last forever. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because there are one or two spots where the color has faded just from two washes. It's only about the size of a dime and it's very faint - but man they are comfortable.

Heaven, these sheets are wonderful, the heaviest I have ever owned but we love the weight. they launder well. I am ordering a second set. I highly recommend these sheets!
