I'd give these sheets a higher rating if they were not so over priced for what they are. The actual sheet quality is pretty good. Nice long staple cotton. Well sewn. And are crisp & cool the way a good percale weave is supposed to be. My problem with the pricing is the embroidery. The thread color is so pale that you can barely notice the design at all giving the area a look that seems crinkled rather than detailed or embroidered. It leaves the sheets with an unpleasant appearance as opposed to the lovely appearance that one would expect from embroidered detailing on their sheets. I also noticed a little shrinkage of the pillowcases which were laundered in cold water & dried on med-hot. I have a queen sized bed & small standard pillows. The laundered pillowcases just cover the ends of the pillows now. If I used queen sized pillows or fuller standard sized pillows the cases definitely would no longer fit. I wish that I would've just returned them as they are probably priced for the embroidery but the embroidery is the poor aspect, as well as shrinkage, of the sheets.
