I read some of the bad reviews posted here about this pillow. You DO have to use it properly, and infact my husband gets it turned around and the walls are shaking again.....BUT this has been a true miracle from the first night he used it. It is a little firm - but that's probably one reason it works so well - and it takes getting used to. If you are looking for a soft squishy pillow - this ain't the one for you, but if you are looking to cure a loud snoring problem....this IS your pillow!!! My adult daughter spent three nights with me this week while my husband was gone on business....she can wake the neighbors with her snoring.....she slept in my bed with me and used the snore pillow....not a peep!!! That was a miracle. She also said that for once she didn't feel 'ragged out' in the morning. It is not THE most comfortable pillow ever, but the crazy thing has done what it says for us. NOTE: BE SURE YOU PAY ATTENTION TO THE PILLOW....THE HALF MOON SHAPE GOES UNDER YOUR NECK....OR IT DOESN'T WORK. I highly recommend this.....WEEEEELLLLLLL worth the money after trying a ton of other options with no luck at all :) :) Buy it!
My husband could wake the dead with his snoring. I was having to sleep with our two-year-old in her room just so I could get SOME sleep at night., even though I could hear him sawing logs through the wall! I mean, D-I-V-O-R-C-E kept playing in my head. The first night he used this pillow, he did not snore - not once! After about a week or so, he started to snore again. I sat up and looked over at him asleep and his head was off the pillow. He said the pillow felt a little "different" at first, so that's why I rated the comfort level at 4 instead of 5. This pillow would have been worth the money even if he had not snored just for one night - a girl has got to get her sleep. I read the other reviews before I bought this pillow, and I almost didn't buy it because of those comments, but I'm thankful I gave it a try. I just hope it works as well for other snorers. Just as a side note, my husband sleeps on his side, his back and his stomach and he didn't snore in any position. I have no idea how it worked, but for him, it did. Good luck! And sweet dreams!
My husband has teased me relentlessly about my snoring for years. Not anymore! I was used to using mounds of soft down pillows - until I had some neck and back disc issues and my physical therapist recommended a thin foam-type pillow to keep my neck aligned at night. This looked like a great way to kill two birds, so I tried it. Not only does it work for my neck, but my husband no longer complains. it is a far cry from the soft down pillows, and it took a couple of nights to get used to it, but I absolutely love it now. It has already traveled to several hotels and a bed & breakfast! It is smaller in length than a standard pillow - so there is lots of overhang, if you use a standard pillow case. A couple of the reviewers cautioned that it may be difficult to tell which way to use it, but I found the contours to be self-explanatory. it really is not hard at all to determine which way to turn it. If you snore (or know someone who does) this pillow can be a real help - without spraying your throat with disgusting chemicals, pinching your nose with uncomfortable strips or risking being smothered by your sleeping partner in the middle of the night! I have already recommended it to several friends and will continue to do so.
I purchased this pillow in an after reading multiple reviews of pillows that help with stopping snoring. My snoring was out of control and had become a huge problem for my wife. This pillow does work not perfectly I still snore sometimes but according to her it is not as load nor does it last as long. Maybe only a 15-30 minute window when it does happen now as opposed to hours. The pillow itself is comfortable. It takes a night or two to get used to the shape since this is not a traditional pillow. The pillow does cradle the head comfortably and I can sleep on my side or on my back. Note if you are a stomach sleeper this pillow will not work for you. I sometimes wind up on my stomach and quickly adjust. The pillow also stays cool and I have not had any issues with sweating. I tend to the warm side so whatever material this is made of it breathes and allows for a great night's sleep. I felt more refreshed after one night with this pillow and continue to since I got it. Better purchase than the mouth guard that cost me $50 that sits on the nightstand collecting dust in its case. Hope this helps some of you you out there.
Cindirella60 post was right on! You must have your head adjusted correctly to the pillow in order to get it to work. When used correctly the pillow causes your head to tip forward, thus making it almost impossible for your mouth to open and snore. You than breath through your nose. I sleep much deeper than before and no longer are sleepy in the daytime. The pillow needs to have user instructions, because I used it incorrectly for several nights. It helped me and is worth the money!
I don't know if it stops my snoring but I certainly sleep better with it. This pillow allows greater freedom to breath without the pushing and thumping as you must do with a regular pillow. It appears small but it is just right. Your face is free and clear, your shoulder is comfy (no pressure), your head and neck just feel good. I absolutely recommend this product.
Pillow needs help from user to be sure head is in proper position. Trainer wheels would help. It helps control snoring ONLY IF user places head in exact position required. Since snorer in my family is 86 year old male with a stubborn streak, it does work on a "hit or miss" basis. An indentation for neck placement would help, I think. Placing a second pillow under the Snore no More pillow might be a workable option so head is properly elevated. I wouldn't necessarily recommend it to friend because our friends are all in the same age bracket and with similar traits.
This pillow works as advertised. I lost weight, abstained from alcohol, used a plastic mouth guard (uncomfortable, waste of money, dogs used it as a tennis ball substitute, and you sound like a Star Wars character - "Luke, I'm Your Father"), and tried the nose strips; all without any impact on my snoring - just my wallet and my wife's sanity. She was skeptical given my previous unsuccessful attempts and said the dogs could always use another pillow. So I ordered the pillow and patiently waited for its delivery. The pillow is a quality product (made in the US -- no lead here) and actually very comfortable. The dogs warily sniffed it as I placed it on the bed and my wife not so quietly chuckled at my latest attempt. I woke up refreshed and feeling well rested. The real test is whether my wife could sleep without my nocturnal window shattering snoring. According to her observation, I snored briefly and was quiet for the rest of the night - a first in many years. This is a great and inexpensive solution for someone with a snoring problem that does not have sleep apnea.
My husband has sleep apnea. We have tried other cervical pillows before, but this one really makes a difference! His airway is fully open and the pillow is very comfortable. Doesn't matter if he is sleeping on his back, side, or stomach, he is breathing and waking up fully rested.
I purchased this pillow because I sleep on my side and I use a CPAP machine. Wow! This is an incredible pillow. Other pillows that are for those reasons cost a lot more. I was a little sceptical, though I am so glad I bought this pillow, I have enjoyed a good nights sleep every night since I received it. So, for snoring, sleeping on your side, having to use a CPAP machine, this pillow is for you ... it is a NO BRAINER!! :)
I bought two of these pillows. The pillows are a hard foam and they will take a couple of nights to get used to. The first night, my husband said I did a good job of snoring on my "no snore" pillow.....but, thankfully, he thinks it has been helpful since that first night. One of the pillows was for my husband, but he could not get used to it, mainly because he does like to sleep on his stomach. Now that I've used the pillow for a couple of weeks, I love it. If used properly, your head nestles in the middle of the pillow and it has good neck support. I'm not unhappy that it didn't work our for my husband, because I now have a backup for later. I'll purchase again.
This pillow is wonderful. It elevates my head and shoulders enough to alleviate my acid reflux.
Took care of the problem. My husband's snoring is no longer an issue. Would recommend trying this before medical intervention. An easy, inexpensive solution if there's nothing medically wrong.
I have been looking for a pillow with the cut for my shoulder for years. I destroy pillows routinely as I bunch them under my neck to make room for my shoulder and they fall apart. I don't like down so this is a good answer. It is a little flatter than I was used to using howevver, it is working out great. Since I don't stay awake to see if snore I can't tell you if it helped there. I am sleeping better and that is enough. Hope I can get another soon as they are not on the site at the moment.
I bought myself this pillow, because my husband says I snore, and I needed support for my neck, I have trouble with getting comfortable because of a back injury, this pillow has help me so much I sleep great. My husband tried it and I thought it would be a fight over it he told me to get him one it came right away, we are both happy now and sleeping great.
My husband told me I haven't snored since I started using this pillow, so I know it works. I also found this pillow very comfortable. However, my husband did not. That's why I'm giving it 4 stars for comfort. I recommended this pillow to my sister and she ordered two of them.
While the pillow is raised, it's smaller than I thought and it also keeps slipping off the bed. I find I need to buffer the beck of my neck by putting a lightweight blanket under my neck to support me on the pillow. Again, it is raised and can be helpful. It's the slippery part I don't like.
I was hopeful that this would at least help to stop my snoring, but it didn't. I would not recommend this product.
This is amazing. My husband was snoring so badly that he was sleeping in another room. The pillow arrived and he used it that night. For the first time in years, he didn't snore at all. I love it, thank you whoever created this, you've saved our sanity and I'm grateful to the point of tears!
I had read the other reviews before having my husband try out this pillow and read that it was a 50/50 shot if it worked. That is exactly how it worked as well. While it did not eliminate my husband's snoring, it did reduce it. My husband did comment though that it was not comfortable.
