We purchased a new mattress, and it turned out to be too firm. This pad did the trick- it made the bed comfortable.

Made in USA and organic gave me a peace of mind. Also great comfort and keeps you warm when it's cold, and doesn't heat up when it's hot. One of the fabulous properties of wool.

I have slept so well since purchasing this mattress pad. It is extremely comfortable and my back pain has subsided. And it was a great price. I wish I had gotten one a long time ago.

The pad didn't make much of a difference with the hardness of our mattress. I imagine the three inch would have probably been a better, albeit very expensive, alternative however, with the thickness of the mattress it would be impossible to find sheets to fit. If I had known how little of a difference it would make, I would have saved my money.

We bought an organic bed and wanted a firm mattress but as it turned out, it was too firm. But we wanted a natural material for a mattress pad and tried this one. We were a little skeptical but It has been very comfortable and we love it. We sleep better now with the extra padding and it does not cause us any problems. It doesn't even get lumpy. It's the best!

My husband and I invested in an all-natural latex mattress but it was slightly too hard (we chose layers firm-med-soft but still felt the top layer was a littler more firm than we'd like). We knew it was a good mattress and super supportive but we felt like we needed a little bit of plush at the top. We hated the feather bed we tried first, so we decided to invest in this wool topper. It was pricey but the only one we could find (including the others on Overstock) that wasn't treated with nasty chemicals. We had just spent $2400 on a mattress to avoid chemicals so it just didn't make sense to put something treated on top. This mattress pad was the solution! It is just perfect. It felt so organic and natural when I took it out of the packaging and was just right to soften our bed. It is not super thick by any means, but it really did give our latex mattress a much better feel, and I feel good knowing we're not breathing in any toxins. It's pricey but worth it. Living in FL, we were a little worried it would make us too hot, but that's not the case at all. It does seem like it keeps you cool when you need it to, and warm when you need it to.
