My Mother purchased this for me, after I purchased a "Signature Sleep Memoir 12" memory foam mattress. The Memoir mattress is a very comfortable mattress but it took several days to get used to as I used to sleep on a "Simmons Beautyrest Quintessence of Silk" mattress. The Simmons mattress was very comfortable but when I became used to the Signature Sleep mattress, I found that I slept just as well but I woke up in the middle of the night.
