Beautiful but Smells Bad I love this retro-looking comforter; however, it smelled so badly when we took it out of the bag. It smelled like curry or some other food spices had wafted into the fabrics and were sealed in the bag. There needs to be some sort of quality environmental control over where this is manufactured/stored to reduce the odors. I had to immediately wash it. It does have a lot of lint after washing, but I'm sure that will subside over time. Other than the smell, I love it!

not exactly as described Quality of the comforter is "okay". Not white at all, more like a cream. The included decorative pillow is white though which makes it not compatible. With that said, I don't dislike it enough to go through the hassle of a return.

Beautiful and well sized Beautiful comforter, very warm and I have recrived many compliments. One issue is when you wash it, lint gets all over your clothes when you sit on it. I washed it a second time and delinted it after with the roller tape. It is much better now and I am hopeful it will improve with each washing, like new towels.

We have not needed to wash ours yet. We bought it in January and it has held up nicely.

I bought this for my sister. She washed it in the washing machine and it was okay. However, DO NOT PUT IT IN THE DRYER. After washing it, she draped it outside to dry but after a day or so to get the last bit of dampness out, she tumbled it in the dryer. It must have gotten caught on something and it scorched on both sides and the filling "melted" and became hard. Other than that, she loved it.
