Heavy Weight I purchased the gray and they are a medium gray. Not charcoal but not a dove color either. The king size sheets are large and I have to tuck them in to get a tight fit and even doing that it is not as snug as I like the bottom sheet. My mattress is fairly new so it is the deeper depth but still a little too large. Top sheet and pillowcases are perfect. The sheets are stiff coming out of the package and heavy weight. The more they are washed the softer they get. Over time I think they will be quite nice. I wanted heavy sheets so I am pleased with the weight for cold northeast winters.

Poor Quality When the sheets first arrived they were very stiff and not soft, this improved after a couple of washes. I washed the sheets per instructions and they allready have balls all over them. I have spent less on sheets with lower thread count that stayed smooth and soft for years.

Sheets that really do fit a thick mattress!! We love our new Luxurious Cal King 100% Egyptian Cotton sheets!! They are thick, soft, and actually fit our thick cal king mattress! We've had our sheets for a week and the bottom sheet stays nicely on the mattress. Corners don't slide up and off mattress. The top sheet is long and wide enough to fit bed. The taupe is a dark brownish gray......more brown in my opinion than grey. A California King mattress measures 72 inches wide and 84 inches long. A regular King mattress measures 76 inches wide and 80 inches long. So, the sheets correspond in the same manner.

Hello kildruf, 100% cotton sheets by their inherent nature will pill, if you want sheets that will not pill at all, you should go for polyester blend or poly sheets.
