La Rochelle Yarn Dyed Heathered Flannel Bed Sheet Set

I wanted printed flannel sheets with the print to be on both sides of the flat sheet. I don't know about you, but I like printed sheets that have a reversible flat sheet. So I called customer service where I was "assured" this sheet set had the print on both sides of the flat sheet. I received the sheets and guess what? The flat sheet only had the print on one side. So much for my assurance from customer service. Sheets were nice, just not what I was assured to expect. RETURNED

Not nearly as thick or soft as LLBean but I expected that for the price (LLB doesn't offer Cal-King). These Cal-King sheets feel one-third the weight of LLB Queens. They're a bit scratchy and took 2 washes to reduce the manufacturing smell. They produce alot of lint in the dryer, and my socks are covered in lint in the morning as well. The main problem is that the sheets are a bit small. The corners fit my 10" mattress OK, but in the head-foot direction won't strech down underneath the mattress. There is about 2" gap on the ends. The left-right barely covers the side of the mattress, nothing underneath. The flat sheet is also a little short. Barely tucking it under the foot leaves nothing extra at the head to fold over a blanket. (it's really a King -- wider than it is long)

I bought these to replace my 30 year old Eddie Bauer sheets which have become a bit threadbare and were starting to tear. These are amazing quality sheets. There are no poorly sewn hems that cause wrinkles, the plaid aligns from pillow to pillow and the hand (feel) is incredibly soft. I got the full size and the fitted sheet and pillow cases are a little bit big, but I have not prewashed these so I imagine they will shrink a bit. The description of green and blue for this windowpane plaid is not totally accurate. These are a light greenish gray with a slightly darker, cooler gray running between every 2nd pane. The lines of the panes are a charcoal color. Incredibly these.sheets match the paint in my bedroom perfectly (PPG Great Grey). I highly recommend them.

I might have kept these sheet, however, I ordered a different brand made in *******, and the quality of these was far inferior. I was looking for a more heavy thread count. These sheets were too thin for what I needed.
