Bigger than expected but so pretty

When we added a 3" foam topper to our bed we needed a "wide" comforter to reach the bedrails. After searching and searching we found this one. I did not realize that not only was it wider it is also way longer... I didn't need one that was longer, but we are making it work. Also, it is kind of odd that the extra width results in a visible seam where they have actually stitched on the additional inches. It's not terribly obvious, but it's there. This is a pretty bedspread with a nice heavy weight. I should have just read the dimensions closer...
