Excellent matress pad The bamboo belies how comfortable and wonderful this pad is. I trusted the reviews and will be buying another one as a spare! We have a king matress, so plan on laundering at a laundromat. The pad has a lot of stiffness. It's perfect to lay on but doesn't wad up well to toss in the washer. And the volume of the pad fabric exceeds our high capacity machine's capabilities. Love love love this pad!!

Feels like I'm sleeping on a cloud!! My bed is so uncomfortable and I wake up with aches and pains every day. I thought I would have to spend hundreds buying a new bed, until I came across this Extra Plush Rayon Mattress Topper. Fantastic!! I was excited to purchase a bamboo mattress cover and I researched various covers for several months. This one seemed to be the best on the market. It's breathable, plush, and very comfortable. You do not feel the seams like you do with some other covers. It seems durable, well made, and like it would last a long time. One of the features that was the biggest relief for me is how simple it was to put on - the edges go on very easily without slipping while you are tucking in the edges on the opposite side; it's perfectly comfortable for one person to do it and it stays firmly in place.

A Fantastic Mattress Topper This Extra Plush Bamboo Fitted Mattress Topper is just what I needed for my mattress. My mattress feels softer and more plush with this topper on it. Only one issue with this mattress pad This is a wonderfully lush, comfortable mattress. My only problem with it, and it is annoying, is that the pad does not stay in place. Every time I get out of bed, the pad shifts. I wish they could figure out a way to keep it in place. That being said, I still like the pad very much.

Are you getting your measurements from a spec sheet for your model number or are you using a tape measure? If you're using a tape measure then find your model number and check the specs. If you are using a spec sheet then get a tape measure and check it. That might help because the numbers you have might be wrong. Overstock's listed measurements are industry standards.

No, it would have to be a front loader. An agitating washing machine would most likely tear it up. Also they are thick so if it's a king it would need to be taken to a laundry mat. I can fit my queen in my large front loader but not the king.

I did not see anything that indicated having been treated with any chemicals. There were no strong odors of anything that would have lead me to believe that it had been treated with anything.

I did a little research to understand more about rayon and polyester, and found this: Rayon is recycled wood pulp that must be treated with chemicals like caustic soda, ammonia, acetone and sulfuric acid to survive regular washing and wearing. Polyester is made from synthetic polymers that are made from esters of dihydric alcohol and terpthalic acid. As far as being treated additionally, I found no evidence.

No. The fabric that it's made of is breathable so you don't get hot so it's not waterproof. It's also kind of delicate so if your not careful it will tear. However it is very comfortable.

Agree. It is way to big for a home washer. I put it in my dryer just on air fluff and to freshen it up. However, it was so big it did not roll in the dryer. Definitely, it needs to be washed and dried in a commercial washer.

Did not feel need to wash, as bottom sheet covers the pad. Will wash maybe twice a year... as washing and dryer-drying such items tends to wear them out. That's what lint is all about! I have two of these pads; one in the RV and one on our bed. So comfortable! They do tend to shift around, though....

Bought this mattress cover (in king size) for my split-king adjustable bed and it works very well. It is pretty cushy, but I also have a 3" memory foam underneath it so my bed is really cushy anyway. Do think you'd like it. I did a lot of research before I bought it and am really happy with it.

No, it is not. It is washable, but requires a very big washer or have it normally washed (not dry cleaned) by the dry cleaner. It is thick enough it will likely catch any spills and absorb them so you don't damage the mattress. But if you have a pet, get a base waterproof think mattress pad and use this on top.
