Thick,heavy sheets with generous hems, but... the side seams roll up, making the sheets short on each side. I even tried to steam iron them flat without success. Also, as with my previous high end queen sheet sets, the pillow cases are quite short and the standard size pillow ends stick out a bit.

Course, rough, and disappointing. I bought these pillowcases to supplement the matching sheet set. They are heavy and thick, which are key attributes in why I chose them. I am no stranger to high thread count linens and their inherent qualities. However, these are not living up to their promise. The weave is rather coarse and rough. I have been sleeping on them for six months and washing them regularly. I would have expected them to be broken in after just a few washings. They are still not soft. In fact, they are far from it. While comparing them to burlap would be an exaggeration, to call them canvas-like would not. What I expected when I ordered 1200 thread count sheets & pillowcases was to have them be as thick as cardboard and as soft as butter. I have gotten such sheets in the past here on Great Offer Stock.com. But what I got this time was a disappointment. These will be going into the guest room.

Excellent choice for everyday use We get the plain white sheets because are comfortable and hold up well. Based on our past experience, we expect to get 2-3 years of everyday use with once-weekly washing in hot water and bleach (not per mfrs recommendation). They will stay bright white, very soft with a crisp high quality feel about them. We have been very pleased with these linens.

Best pillowcases While the burgundy color wasn't my first choice, I am very happy with it. It is rich and deep, not a brassy reddish. Thread count is everything in sheets & pillowcases and these have the IT factor. Overall color excellent, thread count excellent, construction excellent, comfort is beyond excellent and satisfaction is off the chart.
