I have been searching for an oversized down comforter for our king bed. I hate that normal comforters only cover the top of the mattress! This one is perfect, and actually covers the whole mattress. It's a bit "crunchy" at first, but not long. It keeps us warm in cold ND weather. This is the first bedspread that my husband doesn't kick off in the night.

I was really looking forward to this comforter. It arrived and I thought the covering looked not cotton like, a lot of sheen. And the down was skimpy at best. A spring fall comforter, not winter comforter.

I've been searching high and low for the perfect down comforter, and finally came across this one. I've done so much research to try and find the perfect hotel soft puffy one. It arrived in 2 days, and is exactly what the description states. Kept me so warm thru out the whole night! So impressed.

I know the description says "Extra Warm", and the picture looks so fluffy and thick but when it showed up it was not any of those things. Disappointed.

Unlike most other comforters the down doesn't gather in corners but stays evenly balanced. It is also really luxurious feeling and very warm.

Light and warm. However, you need ear muffs because it makes crinkling noises.

Not as warm as I had hoped; I got this to replace a toasty comforter from Hungary, but I still need to use a blanket--and it's not even winter, yet.

When I first received this comforter I thought it didn't look very full, but once I got it one the bed I was pleased. The fill seems to stay put and it is the perfect weight.

Pros: 1.) It's oversized. They are hard to find. 2.) The boxes seem constructed in a way that will minimize shifting 3.) No odor and product tags state that down is sterilized 4.) No feathers - just nice soft down. 5.) the most cost efficient option: it's much better than the 600 fill for slightly more but to go up to 800 fill is alot more money so if you dont need the extra down/warmth this is the best for your money for this brand at the time of this writing 6.) Although the cover is made in China - it is assembled and filled in the USA. This may be important to some. 7.) It can be washed or dry cleaned Cons: 1.) However this is constructed - it makes a crinkling noise when it moves similar to the sound of crumpling paper. 2.) Just out of the package it was thinner than I'd hoped but a few hours later and its starting to fluff up. I'd say its about mid-weight-not super stuffed but not completely flat. 3.) The cotton is not sateen so it is not very soft - it's not rough either it's definitely higher quality just not that extra soft feeling you might be hoping for. However-if you are using it with a duvet - and you probably are- the fact that its not super smooth means it wont move around in the duvet cover as much which could be a plus. 4.) does not come with duvet loops but you could sew them in yourself if they are that important
