"How do I buy a duvet cover to cover the comforter? Need/want white at least 600 thread count."
Comforter has worked OK. Doesn't seem like there a lot of goose down so am not clear how it would work in really cold weather. Has been adequate in a 68 degree room. Its in a duvet so its attractiveness is not much of a factor.

Down and feather-filled products are packed tightly during shipping. Upon receipt, remove them from their packaging, fluff gently, and allow several hours to recover their full loft. In addition, being sealed in plastic packaging sometimes causes the scent of these natural products to concentrate to a disagreeable level. A few hours of airing usually removes the odor.
We recommend that this comforters fluffed at least once a week to maintain down distribution.

Good, not great, and noisy This comforter is a good-enough value for the money. Its a modest weight (medium in terms of temperature, and not heavy in terms of actual weight) and doesn't seem to shed feathers. There are two negatives: Slipperyness of the cover and noisiness. The cover is a slippery cotton which causes it to slide around (we haven't gotten a cover for it yet which may help this problem). It is, however, quite noisy, and makes crinkly sounds when you move it. Its not quite a deal-killer but its close. I'd say don't get this comforter if you can't stand a little occasional crinkling as you or your partner moves.

Great down comforter, just as described! When the package arrived it was just as described and came in a well marked plastic case. We've had it for a few weeks and keep it in a duvet cover. It's a king size and fits the king size bed perfectly. We fluff it every couple of days and the fill doesn't move around too much. It also doesn't loose a lot of feathers. It provides good coverage and is warm all the time. We don't need any other blankets or covers to stay toasty warm. We're happy with the product and would purchase again if we had another bed.

Ready for winter! This is a high quality comforter. Our temperatures have started to change in our area - and I put this on the bed a couple of nights ago - very warm (a little too much for now - but will be great as the winter fully arrives). Very Impressive Very impressive. Just got yesterday; no weird smell, nice white color. Baffles are sewn completely shut. Fluffs up nicely. WAY to big to fit in my little dryer if I wanted to, anyhow. This comforter has a 4.8 maximum oxygen, and 500+ turbidity. For Down Content the Federal Government has specific guidelines when it comes to how much down can be contained within a bedding product. The rule from the Federal Trade Commission states that if the law label on an item contains 'down' - then the item must contain a minimum of 75-percent down clusters. The remaining content can be an assortment of down fibers and small feathers.So when bedding has the typical 75-percent down content -the remainder 25-percent is typically comprised of a mixture of the following: additional down clusters, loose down fibers (the parts that break off from the down cluster), small feathers (6 CM or smaller).

The American market appears to be very confused, calling this a comforter (which consumers think is something to plop on top of blankets and sheets), or I've seen it referred to as a Duvet Cover Insert. The covers are even more confusingly described -- often called a "Duvet" which is nonsense.
