I was looking for a single comforter to replace my set of sheets and top quilt. I tend to kick and pull at my blankets in my sleep, so I prefer having just the one blanket to keep me warm instead of layers. This comforter suited my needs perfectly! It's perfectly warm and fluffy, and has survived dorm living really well.
It even washes pretty well! The tags suggest a large capacity washer and dryer as well as adding a couple of unused tennis balls to the drying cycle to help keep the blanket fluffy. I haven't tried the tennis ball technique, but I will update my review when I do! Without them, this 700 thread count comforter still has maintained its fluff after a couple of washes.
I also appreciate the fact that this comforter is down alternative. I prefer having the alternative to down because it's more budget-friendly as well as easier to maintain. Again, I live in a dorm so my comforter gets some pretty heavy use! In that sense, I'm glad to have this down alternative option.
As for the warmth, this comforter suits me perfectly. I need to sleep with a lot of warmth because, oddly enough, I get really bad night sweats if I'm too cold! With that in mind, I find this comforter keeps me at the perfect temperature.
Overall, I highly recommend this comforter!
