This pad is significantly thicker and more durable than the other lambswool mattress pads I've purchased. I've washed it five or so times in my regular size front loading washing machine with no problems. Drying it on the clothesline worked the best; I hang it over the bathroom shower curtain rod in the winter. I would definitely buy this mattress pad again.

Planning to buy a second one.

Feels wonderful in heat & cold as well as washing like a dream. I couldn't be happier.

This mattress pad is by far better than others I have had. It doesn't get bundled up in little pockets after washing. The only thing I suggest is to get a steel dog brush to re fluff the wool after washing.

fits our California king well... no problems.. was hoping for more softness on our firm mattress though.

This mattress pad does not fit tightly -- and I have a very deep mattress, 15" -- it allows the sheets to slide around which can cause "speed bumps" underneath you at night and awake with a back ache.

I was surprised when I received this mattress pad. It is thick and well made. It is plush and does affect sleep. I slept throughout the night and felt great when I woke up. It is not hot. And I had no allergies or morning aches and pains. Also, no smell as some others stated.

It makes my memory foam mattress much more comfortable. No odor as some other reviewers mentioned. I accidentally ordered two, kind of wish I'd kept both.

Love it! Can't wait to see how it keeps me cool in the summer. It certainly is warm and comfy in the winter. It was a gift for my husband and I for Christmas and while we don't like to spend that kind of money to just sleep on, it's well worth it. One does spend an average of 8 hours in a 24 hour period in bed, so I guess it was worth the money, after all.

I have a terrible back and couldn't get comfortable in the bed. My sister, who raised sheep, suggested that I purchase one of these. So, I finally did and WOW what a difference. The mattress pad makes the bed so comfortable and I did place it under the sheet. It also moisture wicks away those night sweats. I could not be happier with this product. Others have commented that it flattens down a bit but I am a plus size woman and mine (after 2 months of use) is still fluffy. Also read that they can smell a bit but this one does not have any odor whatsoever. I love it!! I highly recommend this before you replace your current mattresss. This is the best purchase I ever made!

Great night's sleep, first put it over my memory foam topper and cooled down the bed, easy to do because of the very deep pockets. Then removed the memory foam topper and used it alone on my firm ortho mattress, still got a great nights sleep, firm but soft enough to remove pressure point pain. Very comfy go up to next level if debilitated patient or thin for another inch of protection. I am 67 and lost some weight and it was that extra touch of cloud my hips and bony knees needed without disappearing into the memory foam and hurting my neck or causing arm numbness. Buy it you are worth it. A great deal for the money.

We really like this wool mattress pad. This is the second one we have bought. We got a new King bed and liked the queen one so well, we bought it again in the Cal King size. It washes nicely and I just air dried it . Looks great and I feel it keeps the mattress temperature even.

I finally have a great bed. Regular mattress and 4 inch memory foam. Worked great until hot flashes arrived. I have not had a good nights sleep in over a year. That really takes a toll on you. Searched the Internet and read about the wool topper, so of course I came staight to Great Offer Stock, they always have what I need. Sure enough, there it was, ordered it. It arrived yesterday. We put it over the mattress pad we had and boy oh boy, I slept until the alarm went off this morning at 5:45. Usually I would wake around 3:45. I would highly recommend this to everyone. No smell either as noted by another reviewer.

and never really came back from that. I don't think it added anything to my bed. I thought it would regulate my body heat better than my memory foam mattress topper, but it didn't. I should have gotten a down featherbed for adding more softness to my bed.

There are so many benefits to the wool! it is wonderful for your back, skin and bones! Cool during the summer, warm at winter.. About 2 inches thick when first arrives, it does flattens to be about 1.5 inches high due to the natural characteristics of the wool. Wonderful deep pockets fit our California King mattress without any problems. Does have a strong odor at first, which takes about 2 weeks to go away. It is machine washable, but washing it WOULD NOT help you get rid of the smell faster - I tried! Vey clean and soft, made in USA! Excellent price for the quality! I would recommend to everyone! Get it now!

the wool is held together by some sot of synthetic "glue". keeps the wool from breathing. not as natural a product as I had hoped for.

This pad was a last-ditch effort to make my existing 2-year old mattress more comfortable for my hips and my partner's shoulders while side sleeping. I layered it on a latex topper and it is amazing. It's soft and luxe without being too mushy. Keeps us warm in winter and cool when it's hot out. We're sleeping great now!

Was hopeful this would hold up, but the wool flattens and I am disappointed in the quality for the price I paid.

Never thought a mattress pad could be so comfortable. My husband and I purchased it after a wonderful nights sleep in a hotel. We realized that we both enjoyed the bed's comfort and decided to look under the sheets to see what made it so comfortable. This is when we discovered the lambswool mattress pad. I had hear of it before but never thought much about it. I am glad I actually had an chance to experience it. I would certainly recommend it if you like the feeling of plushness (without being too soft)while sleeping. The pad has deep pockets so it is able to fit our extra padded mattress. Worth the money.

I can't say for sure how well this mattress pad works because I got it for a new bed. I've slept great, but I don't know how my current mattress would sleep without it. I did lay it over my old mattress beforehand and noticed the increased fluff; it's very thick and literally feels like you're laying on a flattened sheep. I've been sleeping on it for about a month and it has kept it's shape with no indentations. There are several reviews remarking on a barnyard smell. I was able to smell this but only with my face close to the pad and once I put sheets over it I couldn't smell it at all.
