Excellent Deep Pocket Flannel Sheets
Love the thickness of the flannel, and the extra deep pockets of fitted sheets fit my mattress perfectly. I have purchased other flannel sheet sets elsewhere in the past for my queen bed and found that the flat sheet doesn't have enough overhand to even cover the mattress, and the fitted sheet pockets where so shallow that as soon as my husband and I got into bed the corners had slipped off. Not with this purchase. And the pattern is beautiful. Goes with lots of different bedding pieces for a pleasant mix and match.

Very nice, but...
This set is very thick flannel, soft and cozy. The bottom sheet is a most unusual construction, that looks like it would fit and stay smooth on a wide variety of mattress thicknesses. An extra band of fabric goes under the mattress to hold the sheet firmly on. Unfortunately, the company seems to have taken that extra fabric from the top sheet, which could use 8-12 more inches in width. It barely covers my mattress, and mine is not that thick. If there are two people in the bed, one may be short-changed on sheet. One other thing - the pillowcases are made in the same direction. This fabric has an up and down - flowers are either right-side up or upside down. When two pillows are laid on the bed in the usual manner (with the hem to the outside), one has the flowers right-side up, and the other has them upside down. It is a small detail but irritating. So - very nice set, pretty as well as soft and warm and cozy. A couple of improvements would make it perfect. I like it very much, and try not to look at the pillows!

Finally! Deep pocket flannel sheets!
These sheets are truly deep pocket. I have an 18 inch mattress with a 4 inch feather bed on top along with a luxury mattress pad and this fits with plenty room to spare! These sheets do not shed and are soft after the first washing. I never wanted flannel sheets until now. I will buy another set of these. Cheap flannel sheets shed a lot of fluff when washing for several washings. These do not shed lint at all. I give them 4 out of 5 stars.

Beautiful but scratchy
These flannel sheets are beautiful, but they are very very thick and not soft at all. I thought after washing they would get better, but there was no change in texture. They are scratchy and even chafed my skin...not comfortable at all. They are warm, but they need to be thinner, softer material. They also don't fold well after washing. The flannel tends to get even thicker. When folded they are a huge stack of material.

I am so happy that I purchased these sheets! I followed the manufacturer's washing instructions using only one cup white vinegar in the rinse cycle for the first washing to keep the pilling down. Then washed in cold water with mild detergent plus fabric softener and dried on low heat. I hardly got any lint and NO pilling! Put them on my bed and they felt so warm, comfortable and beautiful! They have been washed again with hardly anything in the lint tray and the colors are still beautiful and bright! I love these sheets and am planning to purchase more for my guest bedroom.
